Story Of The Drama Qurban
This is a nice story about three young people named Heer, Jamal, and Shahzad Sheikh. Heer is a smart and pretty girl from a wealthy family. She’s studying at university and falls in love with Jamal, who comes from a poor family but is very intelligent and hardworking. Heer admires her father a lot, who worked hard in life and became a senior bureaucrat. Heer sees qualities in Jamal similar to her father’s and knows her family won’t approve of their relationship. Despite this, Jamal confesses his love for her when he sees that Heer won’t give up on him. Things take a turn when Heer finds out that her marriage has been arranged since she was just two months old, to Shahmiar, a relative from her father’s side. Heer tells Jamal to talk to his parents about proposing to her. He promises to do so once he’s settled. Heer’s father tells her to ask Jamal to leave, but he breaks off the engagement when he realizes that nothing is more important than respect.
